Through her passion for marketing education, commitment to student success, and leadership within Career and Technical Education, Mrs. Ray Lloret has made a tremendous difference in the lives of her students and our school community.

Congratulations to Douglas County School System’s CCI Program students who earned their technical certifications and Dual Enrollment credit in 11 different CTAE pathways from West Georgia Technical College! We are so proud of our students for all of their dedication and hard work! 🎉

Congratulations to Luis Mercado, CCI Assistant Principal, on earning his Doctorate of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Georgia Southern University! We are so proud of Dr. Mercado for this exceptional accomplishment! 🎉

The CCI Academy’s Senior Breakfast was a memorable morning filled with laughter, tears, food, fun, and games! Thank you to Mrs. Crystal Lee and our Senior sponsors, Mrs. Ray-Lloret and Mrs. Hall-Smith, for planning, decorating, and organizing this special moment. Our Seniors’ reactions to the letters written to them by their parents, families, teachers, and staff were priceless! Our seniors have bright futures and journeys ahead. Oh, the places they will go! 💙

As Teacher Appreciation Week comes to a close, we want to sincerely thank our CCI teachers for the gratitude they showed for this week’s tokens of appreciation and for the dedication, care, and commitment they show to students every day. A very special thank you to Mrs, Crystal Lee, CCI Office Manager, for organizing and assisting with all of this week’s gifts and activities, as well as to Mrs. Cyndi Chapoel (CCI Board Member, Parent, and DCSS Teacher), The Coco-Cola Company, and the Douglasville Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. for your generous donations and gifts this week.
