🏈❤️💙 WHAT A FRIDAY AT BILL ARP! 💙❤️🏈

From start to finish, today was packed with learning, excitement, school spirit, and PATRIOT PRIDE! 🇺🇸⭐️

We kicked off our College Football Game Day in the best way possible with everyone sporting their favorite team colors! 🏈 The Alexander High School football players and cheerleaders helped get our morning started off right by greeting our Patriots in the car rider line! 📣🐾

And the fun didn’t stop there! ❤️ Our 3rd graders were busy studying and exploring rocks 🪨🔎, we celebrated our very first Kindergarten Sight Word Superstar 🌟📚, and our amazing admin team treated our staff to a fabulous lunch! 🍽️❤️

What a perfect way to wrap up another incredible week at Bill Arp!

And the Patriot spirit continues TONIGHT! 🏈📣 It’s YOUTH NIGHT at the Alexander High School football game! Come out at 7:30 PM and help us cheer on the Cougars as they take on Paulding County! 💙🐾

We’re ready to celebrate the official start of the college football season! 🏈 This Friday, August 28, students may wear their favorite college football jersey or team colors. Please remember that hats are not allowed. Mrs. Shackelford will be cheering for Georgia, but all teams are welcome! ❤️🖤

📚 Parent Back-to-School Night is Tuesday, August 25, from 6:00–7:30 PM!

Come spend time in your child’s classroom, meet the teachers, and learn more about curriculum, grade-level expectations, and homework help.

🍎 Kindergarten–2nd Grade parents will meet with their child’s classroom teacher.

✏️ 3rd–5th Grade parents will follow their child’s schedule and meet all of their teachers.

🐊📚 SEE YOU LATER, ALLIGATOR… SUMMER READING CELEBRATION! 📚🐊

We had some VERY happy readers at Bill Arp today! ❤️💙 Our Patriots who completed the “See You Later, Alligator” Summer Reading Challenge enjoyed a special celebration in the media center! 🎉

They ate lunch together, cooled off with yummy popsicles 🍧, and earned GOLD COINS 🪙 for our Book Vending Machine! 📚✨ What better prize for reading than MORE BOOKS?!

And the reading fun is just getting started! 📖 Throughout the school year, we’ll have monthly Beanstack reading challenges and celebrations for students who log their reading minutes. Be sure to check the Bill Arp website for each month’s challenge and details!

We are SO proud of our summer readers and can’t wait for a wonderful school year filled with books, reading, celebrations, and lots of Patriot smiles! ❤️🤍💙
