DCSS Summer Reading: Find Your Reading Joy!

Turn up the heat and dive into your perfect summer read! From May 16 - July 31, DCSS is participating in Beanstack’s summer reading challenge, “Find Your Reading Joy.” Whether it’s a page-turning thriller, an uplifting audiobook, or a comforting graphic novel, celebrate the stories that make your heart happy this summer. We challenge our community to read and log at least 3 million minutes during the challenge. As you explore new genres or revisit old favorites, you will earn new badges for logging your reading. Plus, the top-performing libraries and schools have the chance to win our grand prize of $3,000 and a virtual author visit! So grab a book and find your reading joy—we can’t wait to see which stories light up your summer!

Please join us for the 3 Million Minute Summer Reading Challenge. Be sure to log you minutes through Beanstack May 16th through July 31st.

What an incredible year it has been at Bill Arp Elementary! From amazing academic growth to unforgettable memories, our students and teachers have worked so hard and accomplished so much this school year. We are so proud of all that was achieved inside and outside the classroom!
