Our fourth graders wrapped up their unit on sentences, fragments, and commas with a fun and delicious Italian Kitchen Comma Lesson!

Students became “chefs of punctuation” as they worked together to add commas to their Italian menus, putting their grammar skills to work in a hands-on and memorable way.

And, of course, no Italian kitchen experience would be complete without a little spaghetti!

What a fun way to end our unit—learning, laughing, and enjoying grammar together! Buon appetito!

Our Head of School celebrated a birthday on Sunday, August 16, and we are celebrating him all week long!

We are so thankful for his life, leadership, and the way he pours into our students, families, and staff. We are praying God’s richest blessings over him in this coming year—more wisdom, strength, joy, and continued vision as he leads our Harvester family.

One of our biggest highlights? School prayer! We are a house of prayer, and there is no better way to start this year than covering our students, teachers, families, and school in prayer.

The campus is full again, the halls are buzzing, and our Harvester family is BACK!

It’s going to be an amazing year, and we can’t wait to see all that God has in store for 2026–2027!

Join Us for School Prayer Tomorrow Morning!

After drop-off tomorrow morning, we invite all parents and families to join us in the chapel as we pray over our students and the upcoming school year.

At Harvester, we are a house of prayer, and we want to begin this school year by seeking the Lord together. There is no better way to start the year than covering our students, teachers, staff, and school in prayer.

Please join your student at their respective scheduled prayer time in the chapel as we believe God for an incredible 2026–2027 school year.

    •    Elementary Prayer – 8:45 AM
    •    Middle School Prayer – 9:00 AM
    •    High School Prayer – 9:15 AM

As we prepare for the 2026–2027 school year, we invite you to join us in 7 days of intentional prayer.

Harvester is a house of prayer, and we want to bathe this entire school year in prayer from the very beginning.

Pray with us each day as we believe God for His favor, protection, wisdom, growth, and blessing over every student, family, teacher, staff member, and campus.

Abby Vaughan is so excited to be joining the Harvester family as a fourth grade teacher this year. She graduated from the University of Georgia in 2005, and taught in Christian education before taking a break to raise a young family.

Abby has been married to her husband, Leif, for fifteen years, and they have three children. Their son, Bryant, will be attending Harvester this year as an eighth grader.
Abby and her family are members of King’s Way Baptist church, and enjoy serving the Lord there.

In her free time, Abby loves to read, play with her spoiled dogs, and cook.

Abby is excited to meet her new fourth graders, and she is looking forward to what the Lord has in store for the school year.
