The team also highlighted the new secure application portal, making it easier for families to submit required documents.

The Albany Police Department would like to share an important contact update for Project Lifesaver.

Project Lifesaver is a program designed to assist in locating individuals who are at risk of wandering or becoming lost due to conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease, autism, or other cognitive impairments. Participants are provided with a personalized tracking device that can help trained responders quickly locate them if they wander.

Cpl. Lashana Hudson will now serve as the primary contact for Project Lifesaver inquiries.
