This month, our students learned about the inspiring story of Bessie Coleman, the first African American and Native American woman to earn a pilot’s license!

Students discovered how her determination and courage helped her overcome obstacles and achieve her dreams — reminding us all to never give up.

To bring learning to life, our students engaged in hands-on STEM activities by:
