Our mission is to provide a high-quality education to prepare each student to enter the workforce as a skilled and confident healthcare worker, providing compassionate and safe patient care. Providence Medical Academy was started in response to the critical need to add medical assistants, more rapidly into our healthcare workforce. We offer a 16-week accelerated medical assistant curriculum, plus
two week externship, which prepares students to be eligible to sit the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) exam. With small class sizes and personalized instruction, our students receive the attention and support they need to achieve their goals. And, with our flexible schedule, students can balance their education with their personal and professional commitments. Providence Medical Academy is authorized by the Georgia Nonpublic Postsecondary Education Commission and is an approved testing site for the NHA. Our instructors are licensed and certified professionals in their respective fields and have years of experience in ambulatory care and/or post-secondary education settings. All instructors are passionate about preparing students to enter the workforce as skilled and confident healthcare professionals, providing high-quality and safe patient care.
