North Douglas Elementary School

Welcome to North Douglas Elementary School's page, home of the Stingrays, where we are “Stingray Strong in the Relentless Pursuit of Excellence.” We are located only five minutes from downtown Douglasville, which allows us to enjoy the special elements of being an urban school in a rural setting. Our campus extends over approximately ten acres of land with beautiful seasonal shrubbery.
North Douglas Elementary (NDES) is a unique school with over 500 students and 82 staff members. We take pride in our family-oriented school culture where everyone can succeed. Each day during morning announcements, we listen and sing the song by Carrie Underwood and Ludicras, “I am a CHAMPION.” We want to inspire students, staff members, and our community that anyone can accomplish anything if he or she believes that they can.
