💻 Chromebook Device Protection Available for 2026–2027

Douglas Public Schools families have the option to enroll in Chromebook Device Protection through AKKO for the school year.

Coverage starts at $20.99/year and includes accidental damage such as cracked screens, drops, and liquid spills, with a $0 deductible and unlimited claims.

Device protection is optional and is not required by the district.

26-27 Bus Routes Now Available! https://www.douglasps.net/page/parents

PLEASE NOTE:

Students will be entitled to transportation to and from school at the expense of the public schools when such transportation conforms with applicable provisions of the Massachusetts General Laws.

Additionally, the Committee will provide transportation for students as follows:

Kindergarten: All students, except those living in immediate proximity to the school, as determined by the Superintendent.

Grades 1-8: Students living more than one mile from school.

No student in grades 1-12 will walk more than one mile to a bus stop.

No student in Kindergarten will walk more than 1/2 mile to a bus stop.

Our Technology Department will be available to help families:

✅ Set up a PowerSchool Parent Portal account
✅ Complete required beginning-of-the-year online forms
✅ Download and set up the Douglas Public Schools mobile app
✅ Download and set up the PowerSchool mobile app
✅ Enroll in the optional AKKO Chromebook Protection Program

We're also excited to have an AKKO representative on-site to answer questions and assist families with enrolling in the optional Chromebook protection program.
