🦷🪥 Community Helpers Month at Caterpillar Clubhouse! 🪥🦷
This month, our little caterpillars are learning all about the important people who help make our community a better place!
Today’s community helper was the dentist! 🦷✨ We learned about the very important role dentists play in keeping our teeth and mouths healthy. We talked about why we visit the dentist, how dentists check and care for our teeth, and what we can do every day to keep our smiles strong and healthy.
The children learned about:
🪥 Brushing our teeth twice a day
🦷 Flossing and keeping between our teeth clean
🥕 Choosing foods that help keep our teeth healthy
👩⚕️ Visiting the dentist for regular checkups
😁 And most importantly—there’s no need to be afraid of the dentist!
We even got to play dentist! 👩⚕️🧑⚕️🦷 Our little caterpillars had so much fun getting some hands-on practice while learning how to properly brush and floss their teeth. 🪥✨ Learning through play is one of our favorite ways to make important lessons fun and memorable!
Learning about community helpers helps our preschoolers understand and appreciate all the special people who care for us and keep our community healthy and safe.
Healthy teeth = happy smiles! 😁🦷
