Open House at DMA was one for the books! 📕

Thank you to everyone who joined us for DMA’s Open House! We loved kicking off the new school year together. 🤍

From decorating back-to-school water bottles, shopping for new DMA apparel, enjoying delicious food and cake, meeting classmates and teachers, and signing the DMA banner, we packed the evening full of fun and memories!

Join us for an evening of fun, fellowship, and excitement as we kick off another amazing school year!

🏫 5:30–6:00 PM: Meet at the DMA site to tour the future home of Divine Mercy Academy and get your questions answered.

🍕 6:00 PM & on: Head to Washington Park to enjoy pizza, meet our incredible DMA staff, connect with new and returning families, and let the kids have fun!

🏊 Don’t forget your swimsuits! The pool will be open for open swim, so bring the whole family!

👕 Uniform Exchange: Have uniforms your children have outgrown? Bring them along and browse for new-to-you uniforms for the upcoming school year.

Whether you’re a current family, new to DMA, or interested in learning more about our school, everyone is welcome! We can’t wait to spend the evening with you!

Meet the Teacher Tuesday: Introducing Megan Forgey! ✨

We are excited to welcome Megan Forgey to DMA! Megan will be teaching 3rd and 4th grade and brings 15 years of teaching experience with her!

She is passionate about helping students achieve academic success while building confidence, curiosity, and strong character. As a lifelong Douglas resident, Megan’s faith and deep community roots make her a wonderful addition to our DMA family!

We are so excited to have her join our team and can’t wait for our students and families to meet her! 💙

🚧 Exciting Progress at Divine Mercy Academy! 🚧

We’re thrilled to share that preparations for our new buildings are moving forward beautifully! The site is being carefully prepared, and we’re getting closer every day to welcoming these much-anticipated additions to our campus.

A huge thank you to Ed’s Concrete for their outstanding work on the foundation. We’re proud to partner with skilled local contractors who are committed to quality and care. Seeing our neighbors and community members bring this project to life fills us with gratitude and hope for the future.

So here’s our Teacher Tuesday… on a Wednesday! 💛✏️

Meet Mrs. Howell, our wonderful preschool teacher! She brings such a creative, caring, and faith-filled presence to our classrooms. From art projects and crafts to loving on our littlest learners, Mrs. Howell helps make preschool a joyful place to grow, learn, and feel loved. We are so blessed to have her as part of the DMA family! 🍎📚✨

As we wrap up another incredible school year, we are filled with gratitude for the many blessings God has provided through our students, families, and staff. We feel truly blessed to be part of such a wonderful school community and to share in the growth, learning, and faith-filled moments of this year!

We wish each of you an amazing summer filled with fun, rest, adventure, and special time with family and friends! May God continue to bless and guide you throughout the months ahead!

From engaging hands-on activities to imaginative lessons, she continually inspires students to think outside the box and discover the joy of learning!
