Dear Parents, In a gesture of goodwill, we have provided all parents with a payment amnesty period for the month of January to settle any outstanding balances. As we anticipate closing the sale of the daycare on February 20th, effective today, we kindly remind you that all accounts must be settled in full by this date to avoid any further action, including potential court proceedings. If you have prepaid fees, any remaining credit balance after the sale will be transferred to the new ownership, who will honor the existing credit.

Reminder,
We are closed February 16th for Presidents Day.

We will be holding a meet and greet with the new owner on Wednesday, February 4th from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

It is our commitment to keep you all updated on the process of our sale. Things are going in the right direction. Within the next few weeks, we should be finalizing the sale. Please keep your eye out for a meet and greet date with the new owner!

Due to schools delaying, we will not be opening until 8:00 A.M tomorrow morning. Breakfast will be served.

Dothan City Schools Announce Two-Hour Delay Due To Extreme Cold

DOTHAN - Dothan City Schools will operate on a two-hour delay Tuesday, January 27, due to forecasted extreme cold weather expected across the area.

School officials said all schools will begin two hours later than their normal start times as a precaution to protect students, staff and bus drivers during dangerously cold morning conditions.

Under the delayed schedule, the following start times will apply:

Dothan City Early Education Center – 9:45 a.m.

Head Start Center – 9:45 a.m.

All elementary schools – 9:40 a.m.

Dothan City Virtual School – 10:00 a.m.

Dothan 6th Grade Center – 10:30 a.m.

Dothan Preparatory Academy – 10:30 a.m.

Carver 9th Grade Academy – 10:00 a.m.

Dothan High School – 10:15 a.m.

Dothan Tech – 10:15 a.m.
PASS Academy – 10:15 a.m.

School buses will run their normal routes but will also operate on a two-hour delay.

District officials said the decision was made out of an abundance of caution to ensure safety during extremely cold conditions.

The Dothan City Schools Central Office will open at its regular time and operate under normal business hours.

Due to the delayed start, Child Nutrition Programs will not serve breakfast on Tuesday. Lunch will be served as scheduled.

Families are encouraged to plan accordingly and take steps to stay warm as temperatures remain low. School officials thanked parents and staff for their understanding as the district prioritizes safety across the Dothan City Schools community.

Dear Parents, We wish to inform you that an offer has been received for the sale of Pal-A-Roo's Daycare. Negotiations are currently underway. We will provide regular updates as this process unfolds. Thank you for your continued support.

We will be closed Monday, January 19th in observance of Martin Luther King Day!

We will be closed from December 24th to 26th in observance of Christmas. The center will close at 2:00 pm on December 31st and remain closed until January 5th in observance of New Year's. Parents of Pre-K students, please note that Pre-K will be closed from December 22nd through January 5th. Students will return on January 6th. Happy Holidays!!

Parents,
We understand there is a lot of questions being asked now that a For Sale sign has been posted in front of our building. Yes, Pal-A-Roo’s Daycare is officially on the market. We are not closing, and it is being sold as a daycare. When and if there is new owners interested, everyone will still have a place for their children to attend unless you choose otherwise. This decision was not an easy decision to make but due to personal reasons, it is the best decision. We hope when and if the transition begins, you all are patient with us! Until then, thank you for sticking by us, and we hope to continue to serve your children!

Pre-K is closed every day next week.
Daycare will be close the 27th and 28th.

Parents:
We will be closed November 11th in observance of Veterans Day.
