Now’s the time for teens in grades 9–12 to apply for the Teenage Volunteer (TAV) Program! While applications are accepted year‑round, students must apply by June 12 to be considered for one of our summer orientations. We are thrilled to announce our 3rd Annual Summer Exploration Camp for incoming 7th and 8th graders (2026-2027 school year) in Houston County Schools! 🎉 This camp is completely FREE—no cost to attend!

🛠️ What to Expect:
✅ Hands-on activities in various career fields
✅ Early career exploration opportunities
✅ A free camp t-shirt for all attendees
✅ Snack provided daily

🚗 Transportation:
Students will be responsible for their own transportation to and from camp each day.

APF Community Scholarship Program - Scholarship America The Alabama Power Foundation has established a scholarship program to assist high school seniors residing within Alabama Power Company service territory who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs.

The Dothan Police Department is now taking registrations for the 2026 Junior Police Academy. We are proud to partner with Wiregrass RC&D to provide this two-week program that inspires youth through hands-on law enforcement education at no cost! We value the relationships developed out of all our Junior Police Academy sessions.

FREE Summer Program!

Join us May 31st through June 4th for a FREE summer camp program focused on preparing students for college. Summer Scholars Academy is open to rising high-school juniors from the state of Alabama. Students participate in structured ACT instruction, academic skill development, and guided exposure to Auburn University's academic expectations, resources, and pathways for collegiate success. This is a wonderful opportunity for all aspiring to become a future Auburn student.
