Applications are open for the 2026 Alfa Youth Leadership Conference!

High school freshmen and sophomores will grow leadership skills, enhance agricultural knowledge and connect with students from across the state.

🆕The same conference experience will be offered during two separate sessions, allowing up to 192 students to participate. Each student will be assigned to attend one session only.

Now’s the time for teens in grades 9–12 to apply for the Teenage Volunteer (TAV) Program! While applications are accepted year‑round, students must apply by June 12 to be considered for one of our summer orientations. We are thrilled to announce our 3rd Annual Summer Exploration Camp for incoming 7th and 8th graders (2026-2027 school year) in Houston County Schools! 🎉 This camp is completely FREE—no cost to attend!

✅ A free camp t-shirt for all attendees

The Dothan Police Department is now taking registrations for the 2026 Junior Police Academy. We are proud to partner with Wiregrass RC&D to provide this two-week program that inspires youth through hands-on law enforcement education at no cost! We value the relationships developed out of all our Junior Police Academy sessions.
