Classes vary from reading and mathematics instruction to ACT/SAT prep courses, as well as offering a full range of courses to earnhigh school credits. In addition to individualized programs in specific areas, homework help is offered. A+ is also an approved location for exam proctoring for college e-campus students. As Helene moves closer to landfall, we have observed a slight shift in an easterly direction. While there are never any certainties with regard to specific landfall, with a beast the size of Helene, we are still under a hurricane warning (not a watch) here at the center. We are open for testing and morning classes, but have made the decision to close for afternoon and evening classes in an effort to err on the side of caution and safety of students, parents, and staff. We will be administering any scheduled exams through PSI and Meazure today as normally scheduled and will return to regular class schedules for students on Monday, barring a great western shift that would possibly affect the greater Wiregrass area. If there are any changes to this effect, we will send text messages to everyone on the schedule for any affected days and post here as well. Button up and hunker down as you prepare for Helene to introduce herself. Stay safe!

As Helene draws nearer, we see it tracking slightly to the west and reports are now coming out that it will intensify as it travels through the loop currents, much as Katrina, Rita & Michael did. Local reports are putting it at a CAT 4 or better. We are unsure of time frames at this time, but plan to have the center open for test candidates and students IF anyone wants to keep appointments. IF we are unable to open or the storm tracks further west, we will send out texts to parents and students, will post here and will contact PSI and Meazure for emergency closures, then PSI or Meazure will reach out to candidates.
