💰Georgia vs. Auburn Coin Wars💰
October 12-15
For each Highlands’ Featured Game:
-Classes will collect coins Monday-Thursday in support of the team they think will win Highlands' SEC featured match-up.
-The class that raises the most money will win a pizza party.
-The match-up staff supporter whose team loses must wear the other team’s colors on Friday before the game. They will also make an afternoon announcement supporting their rival and proclaiming them the favorite to win. In addition, a picture of the staff member will be placed on our social media sites.
***If a total of $500 is raised, the staff supporter whose team loses will recognize the actual game winner on Monday and say Go ___________ (ie: Bulldogs) on the morning announcements.
***If a total of $750 is raised, the staff supporter whose team loses will have the rival team's logo (removable) placed on their vehicle. The logo must remain at least until their team wins a game. In addition, a picture of the staff member and the vehicle with the logo will be placed on our social media sites.

Our Peer Helpers completed their training and hit the ground running! To kick off their very first activity, they celebrated World Smile Day, a day early. During breakfast time, our Peer Helpers visited classrooms across the school, leaving positive affirmations and smiley face stickers on every student’s and teacher’s desk before morning announcements to spread joy and brighten everyone’s day! 😊✨

The Tide rolled over Georgia in our first coin war of the school year! Dr. Harden, the super Georgia fan, competed against Coach Newton, the mega Alabama fan, in the friendly competition. Being a good sport and agreeing to the terms, Dr. Harden put the Alabama decal on his vehicle and sported the beautiful Alabama shirt and cap! We are looking forward to our next coin war where Dr. Harden will face off against Auburn fan, Mrs. Cobb. Thank you for your support!
