Mrs. Manley’s class earned a class reward for their Highlands Proud behavior. They celebrated with popcorn with the principal!
Highlands students and teachers enjoyed the first two weeks of school with a variety of fun learning and get-to-know-you activities including jitter juice, classroom promises, self portraits, friendship bracelets, PE games, recess, classroom centers, and guest readers!

Beginning during dismissal on Monday, August 17, anyone without a car tag will be directed to the front office.
If your child is not in the pickup line when called, you will be directed to the front office.
Please understand that these situations will result in an extended wait time, as on duty staff are attending to the car pick up line. Thank you for your understanding!

At Highlands Elementary's recent faculty meeting Mr. Devon Culver was named the Employee of the Month. Mr. Culver serves in the Den, our High Needs Resource Room. Dr. Harden remarked, "We would not have been able to start school as effectively as we did without Mr. Devon. He has a huge heart for students and it shows in his day-to-day work with the children entrusted to him. We are very fortunate to have Mr. Devon as a part of our school family." The desk piece given to Mr. Devon was appropriate: "You Are An Essential Piece of Our Team!"
