🍩☕️ Donuts with Dad! ☕️🍩

A couple of weeks ago, we had the sweetest time celebrating the dads and fatherly figures in the lives of our students! 💙

Our morning was filled with donuts, coffee, smiles, and plenty of special moments. We loved seeing our students spend time with the dads, grandpas, uncles, and father figures who make such a special impact in their lives. Thank you for showing up, loving big, and making a difference in the lives of our students. We are so thankful for each of you! 🥰

And, of course, no Donuts with Dad would be complete without the donuts! 🍩 A very special thank you to the Rosenkoetters for providing Krispy Kreme donuts for our event. We are so grateful for your generosity and for helping make our celebration extra sweet! ❤️

🐑👑🛡️ Preschool Chapel: David, the Shepherd Boy Who Trusted God! ❤️

Last week, our preschoolers had so much fun learning about David in chapel! We talked about how David started out as a shepherd, faithfully caring for his sheep, before God chose him to one day be King of Israel. 👑

Then came the BIG moment… David and Goliath! 🪨⚔️ The children learned how David faced the giant—not because he was the strongest or biggest, but because he trusted God to help him. David knew that God was with him, and he was willing to step out in faith!

A special thank-you to our seniors who came to help bring this Bible story to life for our preschoolers! 🎭❤️ They put on a fun “show” that helped the children see and experience the story in a way they could understand and remember.

What a sweet reminder for all of us: No matter how big the giant may seem, we can trust God because He is always with us! 🙏✨

We are so thankful for opportunities to teach our little ones God’s Word—and for our wonderful seniors who are always willing to jump in and make chapel extra special! 💙

🍎🇺🇸 Recently in 3rd Grade! 🇺🇸🍎

Our 3rd graders have been busy learning, making connections, and growing in their faith through some very special experiences recently! 💛

🍎🍯 Celebrating the Jewish New Year

Third grade read about a family who moved from Russia to America. While in America, they celebrated the Jewish New Year Holiday, which just so happened to fall recently. We celebrated by having a special guest, Mrs. Amanda, come talk to us about the shofar and how it was used in the Bible. She also showed us the different sounds and what they each meant.

We ate apples dipped in honey, challah bread, and pomegranate. We made a mezuzah box with the Ten Commandments inside to remind us to hide God’s Word in our hearts. We also discussed sin by writing some on coffee filters and placing them in water, watching them disappear. We talked about how when we give our sins to God, He washes them away. ❤️

🇺🇸 Remembering 9/11

In honor of 9/11, we had a very special guest, Mr. Josh, come talk to us about his service in the Navy during the time of 9/11. He shared how people came together and turned to God during this tragic time, and also talked about how important it is to trust God at all times.

He also discussed ways we can serve God and serve others. We are so thankful for all of our heroes, their bravery, and their selfless deeds. 🇺🇸💙

🔬🐊 4th Grade has been busy learning, exploring, and creating! 🐜🕷️
Mrs. Jackson’s 4th grade students have been putting their science knowledge into action with some hands-on learning experiences! From exploring reptiles at Landmark Park to designing their own arthropods, they’ve had plenty of opportunities to see God’s purposeful design in creation. 💛

🐊 Vertebrate Science at Landmark Park
4th grade visited Landmark Park to kick off their Vertebrate Science Chapter! They learned about God’s purposeful design for reptiles that can be found in our Tri-state area.

🦋🐜 Arthropod Architecture 🕷️🪲
Students then put their science knowledge and creativity to work with their Arthropod Architecture Projects! Students demonstrated their understanding of arthropod structures and functions by designing and creating their own unique insects.

Through this project, students were reminded that just as they thoughtfully designed their insects, God is the ultimate intelligent Creator of all things. What a fun way to connect science, creativity, and faith! 💛
