Today, our administrators and teachers of Morris Slingluff Elementary School engaged in a meaningful Data Dive, collaborating to analyze student data and identify intentional next steps. These focused conversations empowered our teams to develop targeted strategies for removing barriers to academic achievement, positive behavior, and healthy attendance.
By cultivating a strong data-driven culture, we are creating the conditions for every student to thrive. Together, we are committed to making informed decisions that lead to meaningful and lasting student success.

Field Day: Friday, May 15th
Please see the map and instructions below:
Parents can arrive at the school at 8:15 am, and they will park in the teacher parking lot closest to the gym. Parents can travel with their child’s class through their rotation, but a child must remain with their class until you check them out. If a parent is visiting multiple children, we are asking you not to take your child to a different grade level.
Parents can purchase food from the concession stand, Kona Ice, the cotton candy truck or the ice cream truck on campus. Bathrooms will be open in the 4th grade building (See map) for parents which is located behind the playground. The main building will be closed to all guests on campus.
If you would like to check your child out during field day, you can do so by going to the table outside the side entrance.
Students will participate in water games and relays, so please send a towel and an extra change of clothes if you would like.
If your child would like to purchase items from our vendor trucks or the concession stand, please send money (cash) with them.
