Welcome to the summit

We want to personally welcome you on behalf of the family of The Summit. Our hope is that you will experience a group of people that have been changed by the reality of a crucified and risen Savior, Jesus Christ. Through this tender and amazing act, He has created a way through the power of the Holy Spirit to truly be human again, the way He intended it when He created everything. Our desire is to see people truly embrace this. If you haven't come to know Jesus Christ in this way, our hope is that you will. We love to gather as a family to be encouraged and challenged, but we understand that this Jesus who has made us different has called us to join Him in this lost and dying world. We count it an honor and privilege to declare and demonstrate the message that transformed our lives. SMALL GROUPS
Live as groups of people committed to Christ, His mission, & each other. We encourage every believer at The Summit to join a Small Group “a group of people committed to Christ, His mission, and each other.”
Small Groups meet weekly to study the word of God and fellowship. These groups meet in various places and times and Small Groups don't just study the word of God, they also take ACTION , applying what they have learned by going out to serve the community. Some groups gather to display the gospel in a common neighborhood. Others gather to display the gospel through a common vocation, because they work in a similar field. Others gather to display the gospel to a common group of people: an age-stage, gender, language group, or to address needs within our community (local outreach). Missions cannot simply be another program in the life of the church that competes for invariably-limited resources. Rather, missions must become the reason for which all other ministries exist. The New Testament church did not have a missions program. The church was a missions program. The life of The summit must be mission driven. This ministry works to provide food
to God's Children who are in need. To donate food, funding or to experience -

Have you ever stopped and asked yourself:

Am I really loved?

You may never say it out loud, but many of us spend our lives trying to answer that question through relationships, success, the approval of others, and even the church.

This Sunday, Jesus speaks words we desperately need to hear:

“As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love.” — John 15:9 (ESV)

No matter what this week has looked like, you are invited to worship with us. Come as you are. Bring your Bible. Bring your questions. Let us worship, pray, and open God’s Word together.

Have you been trying to hold everything together in your own strength?

Jesus never asked us to produce the life that only He can give.

He said:

“Apart from me you can do nothing.”
—John 15:5

This Sunday, we will open John 15:1–8 and ask:

Is the life of Christ flowing through you—or are you trying to manufacture what only He can produce?

There is a place for you at The Summit.

Come—not because you have everything together, but because you need Jesus. We all do.

We will sing, pray, open God’s Word, and come to the Lord’s Table together.

If you are weary, searching, hurting, or simply hungry to know Jesus more deeply—come worship with us.

There is a place for you at The Summit this Sunday.

Maybe this week has left you tired, discouraged, grieving, or uncertain about what comes next. Maybe you simply need to be reminded that you are not alone.

Jesus said, “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.” — John 14:18

Before Jesus went to the cross, He promised His disciples that the Father would send another Helper—the Holy Spirit—to remain with His people forever.

We are sharing “Holy Comforter” by Liberty Worship Collective as an encouragement for anyone who needs comfort today. As you listen, take a moment to become still before God. Bring Him the burdens you have been carrying, and remember that Jesus has not abandoned His people.

This Sunday, we will open John 14:15–24 and ask:

Does your life reveal that you truly love Jesus?

Jesus calls us to love Him and keep His Word, but He does not leave us to follow Him in our own strength. The Helper has come. The Spirit of truth is with everyone who belongs to Christ. Jesus is alive.

Whether you have followed Jesus for years, are searching for answers, or simply need a place to come before God, you are welcome.

Come as you are. Come sit in the presence of God with us. Come worship Jesus, hear His Word, and be reminded that you do not have to walk through life alone.

WHERE WILL YOU TURN WHEN YOUR HEART IS TROUBLED?

Jesus speaks directly into our fear, uncertainty, and disappointment:

“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me.” — John 14:1

Tomorrow, we will gather to worship Jesus Christ and hear His words from John 14:1–6. Whatever may be troubling your heart, Christ invites you to turn your eyes toward Him and trust Him.

This Sunday, we will open John 14:1–6 and hear the words Jesus spoke to His disciples on one of the most troubling nights of their lives: “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me.”

The Summit Food Pantry will be OPEN tomorrow! However, our parking lots continue to be hazardous. To avoid fall risks, we will prepare the boxes ourselves and bring them to cars as they pull around to the front of the church, like we used to do during covid. See you tomorrow!
