Hello all! We are very excited to announce that the Dos Palos-Oro Loma Joint Unified School District has just opened a position for a full-time Elementary Music Teacher! Dos Palos has a music program with a growing elementary a recently developed 5th grade band, and it is exciting to see the support that our programs are starting to receive, particularly in the earlier grades (K-5)! A huge congratulations to the Dos Palos High School Bronco Marching Band AND The Bryant Middle School Bobcat Band for their performances at yesterday’s competitions!!!

The DPHS Bronco Band brought home the Silver and won the Best Effect in Class Award at the Sierra Cup Classic Field Competition in Class 1A!

The Bryant Bobcat Band also returned with the Silver in Class JH-B, winning caption awards in Showmanship, Colorguard, Marching, and Percussion at the Santa Cruz Band Review!

This is due in no small part to the hard work and dedication that our students are putting into honing their craft and the support and appreciation that the parents and members of the community have shown for the arts in our town!!! Make sure to catch these bands at their next performances in November, to be announced soon!

Hello Band Friends!

The Dos Palos Music Program is looking for instructors for the incoming Indoor season:

DPHS Front Ensemble Instructor ($2000/season)
DPHS Colorguard Lead Instructor ($2800/season)
DPHS Colorguard Asst. Instructor ($2000/season)
Bryant Middle School Colorguard Instructor ($2000/season)

Our current guard instructors will be taking the season off as they will be performing with a WGI ensemble in the 2025 season. We will be beginning preparations for the 2025 indoor season in late November, following the week of Thanksgiving Break for both Percussion and Colorguard, with Indoor Percussion Rehearsals being Tue/Thur 4pm-7pm. Colorguard schedules can be mended to the schedule that the hired Instructors deem most suitable, although in seasons past, we have had guard rehearsals Mon/Wed 4pm-7pm.

For the first time ever… your 2024 Regional A Bronze Class Champions!!! Congrats to the DPHS Indoor Percussion Ensemble for a successful season! Go Broncos!

What an amazing day with the Dos Palos High School Wind Symphony! The students got to meet world-famous composer Julie Giroux in an open forum and performed an excellent set at the Lawrence R. Sutherland Wind Festival in the beautiful Fresno State Univeristy Concert Hall for a panel of adjudicators. The performance was followed by a very educational clinic with Dr. Mary Schneider, Director of Bands at Eastern Michigan University! Way to represent our town - Go Broncos!

POSTPONED - due to the campus being closed in observance of Veterans Day, the Bronco Band Family Night performance will be postponed until further notice. Though a date has not yet been locked in, we are shooting for the week following Thanksgiving Break.

This being said, be sure to catch the Bronco Marching Band in their Regional Championships performance this Saturday at Kingsburg High School @ 3:10PM

Come out and support your Bronco Marching Band in their send-off performance of their 2023 production "Ballade Lunaire", followed by a recognition of all of our graduating seniors! Gates open at 7:00PM and the event will start at 7:30PM in the DPHS Football Stadium. This performance is free of charge!
