✨ Thanksgiving wrap-up at MUA!
This week, our community came together to celebrate gratitude and support. Thanks to generous donations, we created and distributed Thanksgiving baskets and gift cards to our students for the holiday. 💛
We also hosted a fun activity to win free turkeys—congrats to the winners! 🦃🎉

Mujeres Unidas Avanzando (MUA) is launching our Adopt-a-Family for the Holidays program to support hardworking parents who are balancing school, job training, and childcare.

You can make a real difference by adopting a family, shopping from their wishlist, or donating gift cards. All gifts will be distributed to families in time for the holidays.

Mujeres Unidas Avanzando (MUA) ha lanzado nuestro programa Adopta-una-Familia para las Fiestas para apoyar a padres que están equilibrando clases, capacitación laboral y el cuidado de sus hijos.

Puedes hacer una gran diferencia adoptando una familia, comprando de su lista de deseos o donando tarjetas de regalo. Todos los regalos serán distribuidos a tiempo para las fiestas.

This week, our students practiced professional skills, participated in mock interviews, and took headshots to showcase their best selves! We’re so proud of everyone for showing dedication, confidence, and readiness to step into the healthcare workforce.

Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month at MUA!

We had an amazing time honoring our diverse cultures! Students from many backgrounds brought in delicious dishes from their countries and shared stories about what their heritage means to them. 🥘💬

We also had a fun bag-decorating contest with prizes, and everyone enjoyed celebrating our differences while coming together as a community. It was tasty, it was fun, and it was a wonderful reminder of the richness of our MUA family! ❤️🌎

¡Nos divertimos mucho honrando nuestras diversas culturas! Estudiantes de muchos países trajeron platos deliciosos de sus países y compartieron historias sobre lo que significa su herencia para ellos. 🥘💬

También tuvimos un divertido concurso de decoración de bolsas con premios, y todos disfrutamos celebrando nuestras diferencias mientras nos uníamos como comunidad. ¡Estuvo delicioso, divertido y fue un hermoso recordatorio de la riqueza de nuestra familia MUA! ❤️🌎
