At Sharpluk Ahead Early Awareness Program, we believe children learn best through hands-on experiences that inspire creativity, confidence, and real-life skills.

This week, our little learners were introduced to the art of crocheting! 🧶

With child-friendly crochet hooks and yarn, they are developing:

These activities are about so much more than making something beautiful—they help children build confidence, strengthen their concentration, and discover that they are capable of learning new skills one step at a time.

Dear Sharpluk Families,

Due to the forecasted serious snowstorm expected tomorrow, February 23, Sharpluk Ahead Early Awareness L.L.C. will be CLOSED for the day.

The safety of our children, families, and staff is always our top priority. With the expected snowfall and hazardous road conditions, we believe it is best to take precautionary measures and remain closed.

We encourage all families to stay safe, avoid unnecessary travel, and take extra care during the storm. Please ensure walkways and entrances are clear and exercise caution if you must go outside.

We will continue to monitor weather conditions and will notify families of any additional updates regarding reopening.

Welcome to Sharpluk Ahead Early Awareness Program — a community-rooted organization created with families in mind. We understand that raising children today comes with real challenges: balancing work and family life, navigating limited resources, and carrying the financial burden of childcare. Too often, parents are expected to “make it work” without the support they truly deserve. At Sharpluk Ahead, we believe families deserve more.

Our program was built on the belief that access to quality childcare should never be a privilege — it should be a right. That’s why we proudly offer some of the lowest childcare rates in the city, while still providing nurturing, high-quality care in a safe and inclusive environment. We know that affordability matters, and we work intentionally to remove cost as a barrier for families who are striving to move forward.
