Greetings 2017 UNCF Boston Walk/Run participants. The UNCF Boston office unfortunately will not host a 5K race this year, but our colleagues in the New Jersey office will. Congratulations to everyone who came to Boston's Franklin Park on October 14th, 2017 for the inaugural 5K for Education to benefit the United Negro College Fund. The $20,000 raised will help students go to college & support math literacy workshops in the city. Learn more at uncf.org/Boston

Course Description: Enjoy Boston’s most scenic 5k on the beautiful historic paths of Franklin Park. Run or walk the "jewel" of the Emerald Necklace. Bring everyone and make it a family event all ages and paces welcome. This family-friendly 5K (3.1 miles) is on a USA Track and Field (USATF)-certified and -timed course so that individuals can track their times.
