Question #5

Q: What grades does Tapestry Clayton serve?
A: Grades 6 through 12, all in one place.

Tapestry Clayton is a middle and high school combined, which means students can start in 6th grade and graduate from the same community. No transition anxiety. No starting over. Just a school that grows with your child from middle school all the way through graduation.

Question #4

Q: My kid doesn't have a diagnosis. Is Tapestry still a good fit?
A: Absolutely. Here's why.

POST COPY
You don't need a diagnosis or an IEP to thrive at Tapestry. Our approach benefits all students. Small class sizes, two teachers, and a school culture built around knowing each student as a whole person, not just a GPA. If your student wants to be challenged and supported at the same time, they belong here.

Question #3

Q: What does two teachers in every core class actually mean?
A: More support. For everyone.

In every core class at Tapestry, there is a general education teacher and a special education teacher working together. That means smaller group support, more personalized attention, and a classroom where no student gets left behind. It's not a special program. It's just how we teach.

Question #2

Q: Is Tapestry only for kids with IEPs?
A: Nope! It's for all kinds of learners.

We get this one a lot, and we love answering it. Tapestry serves neurodiverse and neurotypical students together in the same classroom. Our model was built so that every student, regardless of learning profile, gets the support and challenge they deserve. AP classes, honors courses, and dual enrollment are all part of what we offer.

"Is Tapestry really tuition-free?"
Yes. Here's how it works.

Tapestry Clayton is a public charter school funded by the state of Georgia. There is no tuition, no fees, and no application cost. Families apply through an open lottery, and all Clayton County students in grades 6 through 12 are eligible. Enrollment for Fall 2026 is open now.
