The first days are a time for adjusting to a new routine, creating new connections, strengthening the ones already there, and bringing a sense of home into this new environment.

Through familiar faces, shared moments, play, and exploration, we begin to create a space where children feel safe, seen, and a true sense of belonging.

Because before learning comes connection, and from connection, everything else begins to grow.

Transition Days are about more than getting ready for a new school year. 💜

They are an invitation to enter slowly, together. To explore a new environment with a familiar hand nearby, to meet the teachers, discover the spaces, and begin building trust before the first full day.

At Cento, we value the presence of families in this process because we believe that meaningful transitions begin with connection. When children feel safe, seen, and supported, curiosity has space to emerge and new relationships can begin to grow.

At Cento, preparing for a new school year goes beyond setting up a classroom. It is about creating environments that listen, inspire, and invite learning.

Over the past week, our teachers have been intentionally preparing each space, carefully selecting materials, designing meaningful provocations, and imagining the many possibilities that will soon unfold.

Now, all that’s missing are the children. Their curiosity, their voices, and their ideas will transform these environments into places filled with life, connection, and discovery.

We are ready for another beautiful year together. Welcome to a new beginning. 💜

With this, we say goodbye to an unforgettable Summer at Cento.

For our final session, we transformed our Light Atelier into an immersive Under the Sea experience, inviting children to explore, imagine, and discover through light, color, and play.
