🎓🧬 At just 16 years old, Maria Eduarda Rezende Gomes is already celebrating a major accomplishment.

Tomorrow, Maria will celebrate not one, but two major milestones, graduating from Somerset Academy Canyons High School and earning her Associate of Arts degree from Doral College through Dual Enrollment. 👏

This fall, she will continue her academic journey at Florida Atlantic University, where she plans to study Biomedical Sciences and pursue her passion for the sciences. 🔬💙

When reflecting on her time at Doral College, Maria shared that Social Media Marketing with Professor Marcela Galan was one of her favorite courses because of the engaging and supportive learning environment she created.

Her advice to future students is simple: stay focused, stay organized, and never lose sight of your goals. 🎯

🎓✨ Graduate Spotlight: Carlos Flores ✨🎓

This Saturday, Carlos will graduate from Doral College with his Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership, becoming the first person in his family to earn a master’s degree. 🎉

As a Civics teacher, one of his favorite parts of the program was connecting real-world concepts from his School Law course with Professor Kairalla directly back to his own classroom experience.

Carlos hopes to continue growing as a leader by stepping into an administrative role where he can support both students and teachers while making a positive impact within his school community.

His biggest advice to future students? Build connections, stay engaged, and take advantage of the relationships you create along the way, those connections can open so many doors. ✨

🎓✨ Graduate Spotlight: Michelle Flores ✨🎓

Graduation is officially less than ONE week away, and this Saturday we are proud to celebrate Michelle Flores as she graduates from Doral College with her Associate of Arts degree while still in high school at SLAM Miami! 👏📚

Michelle plans to attend Florida International University to pursue her bachelor’s degree in English, with hopes of continuing on to earn a master’s degree and potentially a Ph.D. 🎉

She credits Professor Crystal Veber and her ENC 1101 & ENC 1102 courses for creating a supportive and engaging learning experience that left a lasting impact on her educational journey.
