The Dora R-III School District is excited to welcome Christian Mathews as the new Head Baseball Coach for the Dora Falcons. ⚾️🦅

Coach Mathews brings eight years of coaching and teaching experience to Dora, including time spent at Plato, Cabool, and as Head Baseball Coach at Newburg. A former multi-sport athlete at Central Methodist University, Mathews played both football and baseball from 2010-2014.

In addition to leading the baseball program, Coach Mathews will also be joining the district as an Art Teacher.

Coach Mathews looks forward to learning the traditions of Dora Baseball and building strong relationships within the Dora community. His vision for the program is centered around the four pillars of: Attitude. Approach. Intensity. Toughness.

🔬❤️🖤 FAMILIAR FACE, NEW ROLE! 🖤❤️🔬

We’re excited to introduce Shae Roberts in her new role at Dora R-III! While Shae may be a new teacher, she is certainly not new to Dora. After serving our students as a paraprofessional for the past 8 years, Shae is stepping into the classroom as our Middle School Science and 8th Grade Reading Teacher!

Shae began working as a paraprofessional shortly after graduating high school. She is most excited about continuing to build connections with them while showing them just how much fun science can be! 🧪🧬

Outside of school, Shae loves spending time with her nieces and nephews and her crew of animals—including dogs, a cat, goats, chickens, and ducks! 🐐🐓🦆 She is also an avid reader with an impressive collection of around 300 books! 📚

We are so excited to see Shae take on this new chapter at Dora. Please join us in congratulating Mrs. Roberts on her new role! 🎉🦅

Second grade has a new science project AND class pet! After voting, graphing, and analyzing the results, the class officially decided on the name Buttercup! 💛

Our second graders can’t wait to observe Buttercup and watch the life cycle of a butterfly unfold right in their classroom. 🐛➡️🦋

We’re excited to welcome our Falcon families back to Dora R-III School tonight from 4:00–7:00 PM!

We are especially excited for everyone to see a couple of projects that YOU—our stakeholders—helped make possible! The newly renovated elementary bathrooms and the new awning at the front of the school are officially finished, and boy, do they look GREAT! 👏

A huge THANK YOU to our maintenance staff for all of the work they put into making these projects happen. Your time, effort, and attention to detail have made a wonderful difference in our school!

We also want to give a BIG shoutout to our janitorial staff! ❤️ They have been hard at work stripping and waxing the floors throughout the entire elementary portion of the school, and they look AMAZING! ✨ Their hard work behind the scenes does not go unnoticed, and we appreciate everything they do to get our school looking its best for our students and staff.

We can't wait for you to come see it all tonight!

🎉 Welcome to Dora R-III, Jennifer Hambelton! ❤️🖤

We are excited to welcome Jennifer Hambelton to the Dora R-III family! Jennifer will be teaching 5th–8th grade Math, Pre-Algebra, and 7th grade Reading.

Originally from Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, Jennifer earned her bachelor’s degree from Crowley’s Ridge College, completed an alternative teaching certification through Teachers of Tomorrow, and earned her master’s degree in Gifted, Talented, and Creative Education from Arkansas State University.

Jennifer brings a variety of experience to Dora, beginning with tutoring special needs students in math in 2014. Since then, she has worked as a special education paraprofessional and taught several grade levels and subjects, including elementary and middle school math and special education resource.

She is especially excited to become part of a close-knit community and to be back teaching her favorite subject and grade level. Her goal is simple: to take care of her students and help them learn to like—or at least tolerate—math! 😊

Outside of school, Jennifer enjoys baking, art, and community theatre. And a fun fact? She says she has “freakishly neat handwriting!” ✏️

We’re excited to have Jennifer joining our Falcon family. Please help us give her a warm Dora R-III welcome! 🦅❤️🖤
