📚 YEARBOOK UPDATE! 📚

The 2025–2026 yearbooks have ALL been handed out! 🎉

If you paid for a yearbook last year but haven’t received yours, please reach out to us ASAP so we can get it checked.

📌 Current 5th Grade Students: Your yearbooks were handed out during Art last week.

If you didn’t receive one at either location and believe that you should have, please contact Jennifer Moon at [email protected] or call the main office at 205-379-2500 and speak with Shena Moon.

TOMORROW IS THE BIG DAY, BAGLEY! 💛🖤

We are SO excited to welcome our kiddos back tomorrow morning! We know the first day comes with lots of excitement (and maybe a few butterflies for our grown-ups, too! 😊), but please know that we will have lots of Bagley adults ready to greet your children, help them out of the car, and make sure they get safely to breakfast or their morning waiting area. We’ve got them! 💛

🚗 A Quick Car Line Reminder for Tomorrow

⏰ Morning car line begins unloading at 7:20 AM. Please keep students safely in your vehicle until car line officially begins and our staff directs you to unload.

Morning drop-off AND afternoon pick-up are in the GYM LOT.

🚌 The front office loop is for BUSES ONLY during arrival and dismissal.

🚫 There is no parking for arrival, so please do not park and walk students over. All families arriving by car should come through the gym car line.

🐝 Pre-K & Kindergarten families: Please try to use the lane closest to the sidewalk when possible.

🛑 Please watch the STOP & GO sign carefully!

We use two lanes. Students should NOT unload from any vehicle until BOTH lanes have come to a complete stop AND you hear a staff member call “UNLOAD.”

Once students are safely out of the vehicles, no cars should move until ALL students are safely on the sidewalk AND the sign says GO. Even if your child is already out of your car, please wait for the GO sign before moving.

⚠️ Students should not unload past the curve where the last staff member is standing. If you are beyond our unloading area, please remain in your vehicle and move forward with the line.

🏷️ Afternoon Pick-Up: Please have your car tag hanging from your rearview mirror so we can keep dismissal moving as safely and efficiently as possible.

The first few days always take a little extra patience as everyone learns the routine, so give yourself a few extra minutes, follow the directions of our staff, and know that safety comes before speed. The line WILL get faster as everyone gets the hang of it! 😊

We cannot wait to see those smiling faces tomorrow morning! Thank you for helping us make arrival and dismissal safe, smooth, and happy for all of our Yellow Jackets.

Don’t forget tomorrow is Meet the Teacher! Before or after you meet the teacher, be sure to stop by our tables for yearbooks, car tags, PTO membership, and photo ops!

Skip the line and sign up for PTO early! By signing up for PTO, you will have no obligation to help out or attend meetings. Your donation helps us create special experiences and provide support to our students and faculty through the year. We have lots of fun planned, but can’t do it without your help!

Want to do more? We would absolutely love to have you on our team! Core members will be added to a Group Me chat to help you stay ‘in the know’ with upcoming events and opportunities. This option is $25 as it helps to cover your background check and T-shirt.

Jefferson County Schools is now enrolling for Before-School, After-School, Summer, and Holiday Care through the Jefferson County Community Education program for the 2025–2026 school year!
