In the weeks leading up to STAAR exams, the C & I Department saw so many great things in the classrooms, with teachers putting in 110% to prepare their students. Although we did not have time to showcase every teacher, we want to take time now to highlight their efforts. We would like to give a round of applause to Ms. Garcia at Singlettery for her implementation of Total Physical Response during her modeling sessions with students. By involving students in problem-solving activities, she ensures they can visualize and engage with the problems effectively. This innovative instructional technique targets students' needs within their zone of proximal development. A big thank you to Ms. Garcia and the entire 3rd-grade team at Singleterry for ensuring students have the best experience during their Math STAAR Academy. Howdy! Today our Singleterry staff enjoyed loaded brisket potatoes from Willie B's! Staff were busy working on a fun word puzzle and enjoyed lots of laughs.
