🥯 Salazar teachers and staff were treated with a surprise treat of sweet bread served as a delicious token of appreciation from the campus administrators. 🧁 It not only satisfied their sweet cravings, but also highlighted the value and importance of their contributions. This act of recognition brought smiles, strengthened connections, and reinvigorated the passion for education among the teaching staff at DISD Salazar Elementary. What a great way to end the 1st week of the school year.

The Texas Education Agency has announced preliminary financial accountability ratings for independent school districts and charters across the state that pertains to the 2021-2022 school year. Donna ISD is excited to announce that we once again earned the highest preliminary rating possible with a score of 100 or A+. We’d like to congratulate Assistant Superintendent for Business and Finance Mr. Alfonso Perez and his dedicated and hardworking staff for a job well done.
