Donna ISD is hosting the 2024 Bilingual/ESL Summit Saturday, February 10th from 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. at Donna High School. The Keynote presentation will take place at the Simon Sauceda Auditorium and breakout sessions will be held in the west wing. Topics will include cross linguistic connections, engagement vocabulary and rigor strategies, interactive notetaking, visible learning, biliteracy strategies, and translanguaging practices. Qualified teachers will receive a stipend. Participants will also receive a goodie bag, professional books, gift cards, and other items.
