I have had an insanely busy week so I apologize. Last week my son had his last day of school(due to upcoming surgery) so Friday I spent all morning running around like a crazy lady.
The gifts I ordered for his principal(she's a very dear friend now), his teacher, and the school secretary, did not come through. The woman I ordered them from essentially scammed me and I'll never pay again for something up front like that.
So, I got the gifts, got the food, and my Dad and I went to school and had lunch with my son and his best friend. I got them hand tossed pizzas. One with BBQ sauce and shredded beef and the other with garlic parmesan and bacon.
Both boys loved them and I came home with only 3 pieces left! All the gifts were a huge hit and I will truly and wholeheartedly miss those 3 the absolute most. I did get them cookies, cow tails, iced coffee, junior Mints, Coke Zero, squishy crab & octopus, plants, cards, and a special t-shirt for Whitney, the principal.
We've also had softball, final events for our 8th grade daughter, finishing moving, and preparing for my son's surgery tomorrow and my major hip surgery on Thursday. We have to travel for 2.5 hours for his and should be home Tuesday. Our daughter's final day is Wednesday and then I check into a local hospital Thursday at 7:30 am.
I'll be off my leg for 6-8 weeks and I'm nervous. I am in the go non-stop so I'm not sure how this is going to go for so is us, lol.
I'll also have some big news to share in the next few months but changes are coming and I'm so freaking excited!!
It's time for me to get some coffee, get ready for church, then softball practice, and then hubby, son, & I are off to Omaha!
Have a blessed Sunday and love the food you eat!
