Mancos United is partnering with MBK, making this possible for Mancos students and elders.

An innovative, engaging intergenerational dialogue brought to the stage. Exploring our lived experiences, connecting our lived stories.

If you have a Mancos student age 11 or over, direct message me for more information on this FREE 6 session storytelling workshop where students will learn how to be authentic and confident on stage. FUN and easy with the skills learned.
Mancos students who participate will be eligible to audition for a paid performers spot in Bridging Stories on stage in Mancos.
Full participation and no missed rehearsals are required to earn theatre stipend.

Cortez launch is in the works for Cortez students and elders.

You are invited to join us at the Cortez Cultural Center this Thursday 3/7 6pm. Share your story 4-5 minutes or merely listen and lighten up in the company of fellow Creatives.

I truly believe authentic storytelling creates understanding and compassion for different viewpoints & experiences. A much needed shared expression in such divisive times.

I am wryly amused when I hear other Creatives slam storytelling as being overwrought sharing. It has me pondering what these people see as valued entertainment. The latest retelling of a formerly successful franchise? yeesh

Yes the entertainment industry is nuts, we have a choice in how we engage in our amusement and expression.

I have so been focusing on staying in positive action amidst challenging unexpected unfoldments, it kind of hit me late yesterday during a healing appt. I finally let myself cry and feel the hurt. Glad it is out and released. Now I choose to get on with it, without rancor. By golly.
