R.O.C.K. Ministries International

Ministries began in 1996 as a non-profit organization in the United States dedicated to work with gang families of children who were at risk. After traveling to Kenya and seeing the number of street children, Elaine Yi felt the calling to extend this organization to Kenya and plant a ministry there. She felt called to care for children, meeting their emotional, spiritual, and educational needs. After becoming a registered NGO in 2003, a permanent home was established in Kisumu in 2004. also added a school that administers the Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) Curriculum. The curriculum provides an individualized approach to education, as well as consistently planting christian values and scripture in the students' everyday work.
