Huge congratulations to MRS. WALDEN’S 2ND GRADE CLASS for crushing their ELA unit test! 📚👏🔴
Not only did these rockstar Deer beat their class goal of 80%, but they blew it out of the water with an incredible 86.11% class average! 💥📈
That is what happens when hard work, focus, and grit all come together. We are so proud of these second graders for setting high standards and smashing them!

October is National Principal’s Month, and we couldn't wait to shower our incredible leader, Mrs. Kati Stephan, with the love and appreciation she deserves!
It is hard to put into words just how much Mrs. Kati means to Doerun Elementary. She has completely transformed our school into a place where both students and staff are genuinely excited to walk through the doors every single day.
Here is just a glimpse of why Mrs. Kati is one of a kind:

Get ready to show off your school spirit and take a stand for healthy choices! Red Ribbon Week is October 27th – October 30th, and we have a fun lineup of dress-up days planned! 🥳
Check out the schedule so you can plan those outfits ahead of time:
💤 Tuesday, Oct 27: PJ Day – Roll out of bed and head to school in your favorite cozy pajamas!

We are so excited to roll out our newest tradition at Doerun Elementary: Best Bus Behavior! 🏆🔴
Every week, we’ll be recognizing the bus routes that go above and beyond in demonstrating top-notch safety, respect, and awesome behavior on the ride to and from school!
Here’s what our winning buses score:
💵 Morning Bus Winners: Every rider gets a Golden $5 Deer Buck to spend!
⭐ Afternoon Bus Winners: Ultimate VIP Treatment! The winning bus parks in the front VIP lane all week long AND gets to be the very first bus to leave school!
For our very first week, we have a TIE for the morning bus victory! 🥳✨ Both crews earned that Golden $5 Deer Buck!
