Our chapter is beginning to sell products for our annual pointsettia sale, and also this is our first year selling fruit, mixed nuts, meats and cheeses, and katydids which are a chocolate, caramel candy. Our final day of National Convention included a day spent in the convention center and career fair to talk to colleges and attend learning sessions! We also stopped on the way home at the Broken Wagon Bison farm and learned about where bison originated from as well as seeing them up close!

Lastly, all of our FFA members along the trip wanted to give a huge THANK YOU to everyone back home including our families, teachers, administrators, and community who allowed this trip to happen!

On day 3 (Thursday), we headed down south towards Kentucky to tour the underground cave phenomenon that is Indiana Caverns. These caves spread for miles and the tour includes a section in a boat along the river flowing through the caves. We ended the night with a scary haunted house in the spirit of Halloween!! 🎃

Today we headed south to an exotic feline rescue! Here we learned about the many different kinds of cats and the abusive situation that each one was saved from. This rescue serves as a rehabilitation and final home for exotic cats that were rescued. 🐅 🦁

What an awesome way to spend our Sunday working at Farmers Appreciation Day! Our officers did what we do best by learning, teaching, and helping by running a farm animal petting zoo! We housed a beef calf named Rocky, a Jersey calf named Riverdale, a milking shorthorn calf named Lady D, 3 goats, and countless bunnies! Huge Thank You to every one who lent us animals, came out to support our chapter, and the committee who planned the activities. We are so grateful for our community!
