7/4/26 Work continues on the WKR N-scale layout... Repairs are not permanent yet, but we have both the outer main (red) line and the middle (yellow) line restored enough for traffic.

Repairing Damage
During the Train Show back in March, we had trouble keeping the trains running with frequent derailments. We didn't know why. After setting the WKR back up at home base, similar problems popped-up. This is when we noticed two joints that took damage. In the first pair, one rail broke the solder joint and was quickly repaired. We're still working on the second joint to get proper gauge and alignment.
