COVID-19 precautions. I thought I would make a quick announcement. In this interesting time I am still planning on carrying on “business as usual” until it is required by law to shut down. However, the following precautions have been immediately put into effect:

Both keyboards and control panels of the studio pianos will be wiped down with disinfectant wipes before each day’s lessons take place.

The door handles will be wiped down every day before activities begin, both outside handle and inside handle.

All students will apply hand sanitizer before touching a piano at the beginning of each lesson.

I’m currently converting my music library card files from physical cards to digital database. As soon as I get all 17,200+ songs done I’ll continue with library expansion. Also, I have posted a schedule of events for the Depot Theater for the upcoming season on the window at the studio so feel free to check it out anytime you’re in the mall.

Currently over 16,800 songs in the library and growing weekly. Currently working on a collection of music education resources/materials that teach how to read music. Will soon be adding more piano method books. I am currently working on finalizing my summer schedule and have several openings. Go to the website and register to reserve your spot.

End of school year closing, starting Boot Hill season. I know I will have some students discontinue lessons in the summer but will teach through the summer for those interested. There are only two on the waiting list right now and those should go by June so get on the list to reserve your spot. Current students will get priority in the fall when the school year kicks back in.

Congratulations to the 5 Cimarron high school students that I had the privilege to accompany at regional festival on Saturday. That means I’ll be accompanying them at state contest on the 28th. The library now has over 16,300 songs indexed. Currently working on a youth hymn book and going to soon add a collection of men’s choir pieces for church.

Over 15,600 songs in the library and growing weekly, currently working on a Choral book. I am still at capacity with lessons but have no one on the waiting list so be the first on stand by when a slot opens.

Over 15,000 songs in the library with more added each week. Just finished adding a Christmas Cantata and gospel song collection, currently working on a contemporary hymnal. Although I’m currently at capacity I will be starting a waiting list and there’s a good chance that my assistant who has been in training with me will be ready for beginning students soon. Be watching for updates and details.

I still have three slots available, one on Mondays and two on Tuesdays. I'll be playing piano for a special edition of the Long Branch Variety Show Friday, January 19th at 6:00 p.m. at the Western Bank Expo building then playing piano at the Long Branch Saloon at Boot Hill Museum on Sunday from 1-5.

Only have 2-3 slots available, get registered now to avoid a waiting list. Forte will be closed from this Thursday, Dec. 21 until Monday, Jan. 8th, but I will be checking messages, emails and updating information. I now have over 14,300 songs in the library. Still working on the wedding and love song fake book and will soon be adding a collection of vocal repertoire which includes pop, Broadway and art songs ideal for performance and festival/contest.
