Dodge City Community College was represented well at the Kansas SkillsUsa Contest this week in Hutchinson Kansas. Leo Lozano placed 2nd in the state. Congratulations!!

Congratulations to these 13 young men who successfully passed and gained Certification for NC3 Snap-on Battery Maintenance, Battery Charging, and Battery, Starting System, and Charging System Testing.
NC3 is the National Coalition of Certification Centers and works with Snap-on and other major corporations for Technical Training and Certification for different equipment used in industry. Schools are able to purchase the required tools and equipment at reduced prices and is the latest technology used in industry.
Instructors are required to go through a Train-the Trainer course to have Certification to teach the course.

The 9 students pictured are high school students from our DC3 service area who are enrolled in the Diesel Technology Program at DC3 through Excel in CTE at minimal to no cost to students.

The Certifications are made possible through NC3 (National Coalition of Certification Centers) NC3 certification curriculum represents a complete turn-key system of classroom presentation materials, labs, and exams centered on today's in-demand industry skills. The NC3 certification supplements a school's existing curriculum with theory and hands-on practice utilizing world-class equipment and tools.
