Beginner’s Night at Rockford Elementary was a wonderful success! We loved welcoming so many new students who will be starting Kindergarten in August. It was a great opportunity for our future students and their families to visit the school, meet staff, and get excited for the year ahead. Our first graders had so much fun bringing their learning to life by creating edible landforms! 🍪⛰️ After exploring different types of landforms, they used creativity (and a little frosting 😄) to design mountains, rivers, islands, and more. 🌊🏝️ So proud of their hard work and hands-on learning! 👏💚

Our kindergarteners worked SO hard building leprechaun traps… but that sneaky little guy still got away! 🍀✨
He tiptoed through our classrooms, left a bit of mischief behind, and even dropped off a note saying, “Better luck next year!”
We may not have caught him this time, but the fun (and trouble!) he left behind made for a magical day! 💚🌈
