Some members of our community face battles far bigger than anything we see on the surface. Walker, one of our own students, is a true heart warrior ๐
He is about to enter the hospital for what could be 12โ18 months as he waits for a life-saving heart transplant. This journey will be long, challenging, and filled with uncertaintyโbut he is not facing it alone.
Weโre asking our community to come together in support. If youโre able, please consider donating to his GoFundMe to help ease the financial burden on him and his family during this time. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference.
If you canโt donate, sharing this post means just as much. Letโs surround him with strength, hope, and love as he begins this fight.

Weโre excited to announce the return of our womenโs self-protection programs this spring, with two highly-requested offerings:
๐ช Teens Self-Defense Class (ages 13โ16)๏ฟฝ
๐ช Pre-College Self-Defense Class (college-bound seniors + students home for summer)
Each course runs four sessions, progressively building skill, developing confidence, and empowering participants throughout the program. We require a minimum of 6 registered participants in order to run each course; the maximum size for each course is 24.
We strongly encourage registering with friends: hands-on practice is more fun, discussions are richer, and challenging subject matter often feels safer in a supportive peer group.
