Permantely Closed This preschool program is specifically designed for 3 to 5 year olds. Thus, age appropriate activities are easily provided.

Unlike many daycare centers offering a "preschool program", we do not use a pre-made curriculum purchased through mail order companies. Our lessons are specifically designed by a qualified state credentialed teacher to reach the learning needs of individual students. Thank you for all of the inquiries about the upcoming school year. Sunshine Preschool will not be reopening for the 2021-22 school year. I will be teaching Kindergarten again at Dixon’s Tremont Elementary School. ☀️

With the Dixon school closures, safety recommendations of the state/county, and parents’ concern over increasing Covid cases leading to low enrollment, I unfortunately cannot comfortably open the preschool for the 2020-21 school year. After 21 years of running a successful business and teaching hundreds of preschoolers, I am heartbroken over this! Many can agree that it is not easy to run a small business during a pandemic! Thank you to all the wonderful families that have supported Sunshine Preschool through the years!❤️
