The Sauk Valley Community College Board of Trustees would like to announce the selection of Dr. Jon Mandrell as the College's seventh president. Their vote was unanimous and aided by the collective confidence of the College through a campus-wide evaluation.
Dr. Mandrell noted, “Sauk has been a part of my life’s journey from the beginning, shaping who I am, and it is a great honor to now serve as president as we celebrate 60 incredible years. The dedication of our remarkable faculty and staff has always inspired me, and I look forward to working alongside them as we continue building Sauk’s future together with our incredible community.”
Dr. Mandrell will officially begin his presidential duties on June 1, 2026.
