A huge THANK YOU to all of the Dixon Montessori parents and families who came out for our Campus Beautification Day!

The school/family connection is extremely important to our students. We appreciate any involvement and initiative our families take to make this a better place, and today our families showed up and went to work. We are incredibly grateful to have this kind of support behind our students and staff.

Thanks to all of you, our campus is looking clean, welcoming, and READY for the first day of school on Monday!

Monday morning:
-Breakfast opens at 7:40 AM
-Recess opens at 7:45 AM
-First whistles blow at 8:00 AM

The campus is ready. Our staff is ready. Now we just need our students!

Dear DMCS Families,

As we prepare to welcome back our wonderful DMCS students on Monday, we'd like to share the August/September school lunch menus to help your family plan your child's lunches for the start of the school year.

We look forward to seeing everyone on Monday and wish you a fantastic school year!

Kids are headed back to school and that means an increase in traffic from school buses 🚌, pedestrians 🚶‍♀, and cyclists. 🚴

⚠️ Keep them SAFE – slow down in school zones. ⚠️

🍃Help Us Make DMCS Shine!✨

Kick off the 2026–2027 school year by joining the DMCS PTO for our first Site Beautification event! Bring the family, roll up your sleeves, and help us create a cleaner, greener, and more welcoming campus for our students and staff.

We’ll be tackling gardening, w**ding, general cleanup, and other campus improvement projects. No special experience is needed just a willingness to help!

Please bring work gloves and a filled water bottle. If you have helpful outdoor tools—such as rakes, shovels, brooms, wheelbarrows, clippers, w**d whackers, or blowers—feel free to bring them along.

Children are welcome to participate but must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times. Snacks and drinks will be provided for our hardworking volunteers!

¡Comienza el ciclo escolar 2026–2027 uniéndote al PTO de DMCS en nuestro primer evento de Limpeza del Campus! Trae a toda la familia, ponte los guantes y ayúdanos a crear un campus más limpio, verde y acogedor para nuestros estudiantes y personal.

Estaremos realizando trabajos de jardinería, deshierbe, limpieza general y otros proyectos de mejoramiento del campus. ¡No se necesita experiencia, solo ganas de ayudar!

Por favor, trae guantes de trabajo y una botella de agua llena. Si cuentas con herramientas útiles para trabajar al aire libre, como rastrillos, palas, escobas, carretillas, tijeras para podar, desbrozadoras o sopladoras de hojas, siéntete libre de traerlas. Los niños son bienvenidos a participar, pero deberán estar supervisados por un padre, madre o tutor en todo momento.

¡Habrá refrigerios y bebidas para nuestros increíbles voluntarios!

🍎 Our Teachers and Staff Are Back! 💙

The halls are filling with excitement as our amazing teachers and staff return to campus! Over the past few days, they have been hard at work preparing classrooms, participating in professional development, collaborating with one another, and getting everything ready for another incredible school year.

We are so grateful for the dedication and enthusiasm our staff brings as they prepare to welcome our students back to campus. Their commitment to creating a positive and supportive learning environment is what makes our DMCS community so special.
