🚨 IMPORTANT SPECTATOR INFORMATION – COMPETITION WEEKEND! 🚨
The Webster County High School Marching Band is heading to Hopkinsville this Saturday, October 17, for the 2026 Western Kentucky Tournament of Champions, hosted by Christian County High School!
With 22 bands competing throughout the day, we want to make sure our band families, friends, and supporters have all the important information they need before traveling to cheer on our Marching Trojans!

🕗 Spectator gates open at 8:00 AM
🚗 IMPORTANT PARKING INFORMATION
With 22 bands participating, parking at the Stadium of Champions will become extremely limited as the day progresses. Spectators arriving later in preliminary competition or for Finals should anticipate using overflow parking.

🚌 Continuous shuttle service will transport spectators between the overflow parking area and the Stadium of Champions.
‼️ PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY! We strongly encourage everyone to arrive early and allow additional time for parking, shuttle transportation, ticketing, and security screening. We do not want anyone to miss our students’ performance because of unexpected delays!
🚫 IMPORTANT: STRICT NO-BAG / NO-PURSE POLICY
Christian County Public Schools enforces a strict no-bag and no-purse policy at all athletic facilities. All spectators will be required to pass through a weapons detection system before entering the stadium.
The ONLY permitted exceptions for spectators are:
✅ Clear bags no larger than 12” x 12”
✅ Medical bags (subject to inspection)
✅ Diaper bags when accompanied by a baby (subject to inspection)
❌ All other bags and purses are prohibited, regardless of size.
‼️ IMPORTANT DISTINCTION FOR OUR BAND FAMILIES!
🎺 MARCHING BAND STUDENTS & STAFF: Students and staff participating in the competition ARE permitted to bring their normal personal bags, backpacks, instrument cases, and necessary equipment.
👨👩👧👦 PARENTS, GUARDIANS & SPECTATORS: All spectators MUST follow the clear bag policy, regardless of their association with a participating band.
Please understand that being a band parent, guardian, or supporter does not exempt anyone from the spectator bag policy. Spectators arriving with prohibited bags will be required to return them to their vehicles before entering.
We appreciate everyone’s understanding and cooperation with these security procedures!
🏆 PRELIMINARIES & FINALS COMPETITION
This weekend’s competition will be different from several of our previous competitions this season!
A total of 22 marching bands will compete during preliminary competition, with only the TOP 12 BANDS advancing to Finals later that evening!
Because this is a preliminary and finals competition, our schedule for the evening will depend on whether we advance. We will communicate additional information regarding Finals as soon as results and performance times are announced.

Our students have continued working incredibly hard throughout this marching season, and we would love to see our Webster County families, friends, and community members filling the stands to support them!
Wear your MAROON AND GOLD, bring your Trojan pride, and help us cheer on these outstanding students as they take the field!
