From Mrs. Alexander: DMS Book Club field trip!

We had the wonderful opportunity to visit The Library Center in Springfield, MO on 3/10/26. They gave us a tour of their library and all that they have to offer. Their community outreach programs were amazing as well as their genealogy and research areas. We stepped inside their awesome BookMobile and saw how it worked. We even walked through the employee areas, and they discussed how the library continues its work from there. The students were shown what microfilm was and how to read the information contained within the film! We saw maps from the 1920s, Victory mail from WWII, and other rare materials. We thank The Library Center and their staff for their time and efforts for such a wonderful experience.

🎩 Friday the 13th is $1 Hat Day!

We’re coming together to support Miss Patty at the high school as she battles cancer. Students can wear a hat for $1, and anyone who would like to give a little extra can send additional donations for “extra hats.”

Congrats to the students that placed in the Frisco League Math Competition yesterday!

6th grade: Malachi 6th place
7th grade: Liam 6th place
8th grade: Selena 9th place

There were MANY other students from the Frisco League and we are so proud of how well these students did!!

The Central Missouri Foster Care & Adoption Association's Traveling Trunk--a free and mobile clothing and more store--will be in Saint Robert at the Maries County Bank from 2pm to 6pm on March 3rd. We will be back on March 4th from 11am to 3pm.

This is an opportunity for any foster, adoptive, or kinship family, and any youth who have aged out of the foster care system, to come and shop for clothing and more all for free.

Mrs. Ballard's art classes are currently working on their clay unit. Students are creating 3D Big Mouth Monster sculptures.
