Today is our new staff orientation!! We are spending the morning training teachers in everything from Technology, Alice, as well as meeting with our Central office staff, and mentor staff. School starts next week!

Fall Sports are almost here! 🐾

We’re excited to kick off the Fall Sports season at T.W.K. Dirigo Middle School!
Soccer and Field Hockey begin Monday, August 31, with Cross Country starting Tuesday, September 1.

A reminder that all student-athletes need a current physical on file and must be registered by a parent/guardian at schools.snap.app/dirigo by clicking “Register.”

5th graders may register at this time! Once we see registration numbers, we’ll determine if there is enough space to safely include them.

Go Cougars! The summer mailing with start-of-year information will be sent out in about a week. If you are interested in chaperoning or volunteering at any time this year, you must complete the volunteer paperwork in advance (call us for more info). BIG reminder: Student-athletes MUST submit evidence of a clear sports physical within the past two years BEFORE participating. If your student needs one, I recommend getting that arranged before the September rush. Here it comes!

We are one month away from the start of the 2026-2027 school year! The annual mailing will be sent out in a couple of weeks with lots of information. In the meantime, we thought we would post our recommended supply list and ask parents/guardians to "save the date" for Thursday, September 3rd, 5:30-7:00, for the TWKDMS Open House and mandatory technology safety meeting. The first day of school for 6th graders will be Wednesday, August 26th (NOT a late arrival day), and the whole school starts up on Thursday, August 27th. Go Cougars!

📣 We're so excited to announce our DHS Cheer Camp! 💙📣

Join the Dirigo High School Cheerleaders and coaching staff for three fun-filled days of learning cheers, jumps, stunts, dances, building confidence, and making new friends!

This camp is open to all students going into grades K–8.
