Colorado Roots Music Camp

Colorado Roots Music Camp Music classes, concerts, master classes, seminars and jamming. Select the classes that appeal to you.

Join us each summer for a week of bluegrass, folk, blues, swing, jazz, Irish, flatpicked and fingerstyle guitar, mandolin, banjo, fiddle, bass, singing, learning and fun! More than 35 hands-on classes offered over a broad range of levels, instruments, styles and subjects. There will also be concerts by instructors and campers, master classes for up-close individualized learning, seminars on intere

sting and fun topics, and jamming! And, if you’re new to jamming, we’ll have courses specifically designed to get you started. The Colorado Roots Music Camp is located in the spectacular Rocky Mountains in Colorado at the base of America's mountain: Pikes Peak.

Thanks to all involved (i.e. students, instructors, staff and volunteers) in our summer camping season ending Colorado Roots Music Camp II. The music was great, as was the community created through the week. An abundance and variety of gifts and talents were represented. Those attending camp get 1st choice of accommodations for next camp BEFORE they leave. So with Camp II's conclusion for 2025, Please sign-up to come as ALL can now select as space at Roots Camp I & II in 2026 (https://www.rmmc.org/roots/)!

At Colorado Roots Music Camp this year, we were gifted a lovely quilt from Jean Firestine, spouse of Dave Firestine. We raised nearly $2,100 which will almost fund 2 scholarships!! The winning ticket was purchased by Mary Yoder, Food Service Director at Rocky Mountain Mennonite Camp. Mary is a fellow quilter and had admired the quilt daily. Thanks to all who contributed!
