WHAT IF THE RESOURCES FAMILIES NEED WERE ALL IN ONE ROOM? 👀

On December 5, we’re doing exactly that.

The Different Together Summit 2026 is bringing together people who know the systems, people who work with families every day, and people with lived experience — all in one place.

🎤 Featured speakers
💡 Real conversations
🧠 Neurodiversity
❤️ Health & wellness
🎓 Education & advocacy
🗣️ Youth voices
🤝 Experts and community resources you can actually connect with

No running from website to website.
No wondering who to call next.
No feeling like you have to figure everything out alone.

Families shouldn’t have to know the system to get help from the system.

Saturday, December 5, 2026
11 AM–3 PM
Bowie Library Auditorium
🎟️ FREE — ALL ARE WELCOME

And yes… we still have a few surprises.

THE 1100 CHALLENGE

We’re setting a goal at Make Smart Cool: help at least 20 students earn an SAT score of 1100 or higher during the 2026–2027 school year.

And we’re giving students access to FREE online SAT Prep to help them get there.

20 Students. 1100+. One Goal.

Students can prepare in Reading & Writing and Math, practice their skills, receive feedback, and track their progress—all at no cost.

We’ll also celebrate score growth, because every point of improvement matters.

Know a high school student preparing for the SAT? Send them our way.

Today we're proud to introduce the Make Smart Cool® Reading System.

Our approach is simple:

READ. UNDERSTAND. CONNECT. THINK. EXPLAIN.

Through our new Reading Lab, children can complete age-appropriate reading challenges, strengthen comprehension and critical-thinking skills, and track their progress over time. Parents can privately follow their child’s growth, while our Kids Read program connects that work to the community.

Last year, 20 children participated in Kids Read, and all 20 showed improvement in their reading level.

Now we’re taking the next step.

We’re not just asking whether our children can read the words.

Do they understand what they read?
Can they connect with it?
Can they think about it?
Can they explain it?
Are they growing?

That’s what we’re building.

As a father, this is personal. As an advocate, this is necessary. And as the Founder of Make Smart Cool®, I’m proud that we're creating another resource to help our children succeed.

The Make Smart Cool® Reading System is NOW LIVE.
