We are preparing everything at the facility to begin but we do have a band of rain in the area with all signs pointing at it arriving in less than 30 minutes. At this time, we are going on a weather hold and we will continue to monitor the weather situation as it moves into the area and make a decision regarding today’s activities as soon as possible.

The $75,000 Saturday/Sunday combo event of the weekend headlines Star Machine and Red Line Synthetic Oil Saturday here at the PDRA Triple Threat Bracket Series: MegaBucks event at Virginia Motorsports Park!

The final Triple Threat race day of the season brings a $75,000 event to be held today with another big check on the line! Jr. Dragsters will run their 32-car shootouts today, as well, with the time trial session beginning at the conclusion of round two of the $75,000 main event.

JIMMY WILLIAMS DEBUTS NEW MADDOX DRAGSTER AND WINS $50,000 ON L&L FRIDAY!

Less than 24 hours ago, Jimmy Williams made the first run in his brand-new Maddox Race Cars dragster. Tonight, he parked it on the dance floor in the final round of L&L Transmission Friday with $50,000 on the line. Williams defeated a red-lighting Tim Phipps in the final round. Kevin Brannon and Doug Foley, Jr. were the semi-finalists.

Bobby Mattera took home the No Box bonus defeating Cameron Welch, before rolling into the $50,000 main event.

DUSTIN SMILEY GRABS TBM THURSDAY $10K

Dustin Smiley wheeled his door car to the winner's circle on TBM Brakes Thursday grabbing the $10,000 warm-up victory over Ben Jones. Jones turned it .007 red in the finals and Smiley cruised to an automatic victory after a hard-fought day of drag racing.

The time trial session kicks off at 9am for everyone who did not compete in the Thursday warm-up and once new entry time runs complete, round one of eliminations will begin in our $50,000 to Win race this weekend!

Wyatt Piercey claims his first Red Line Synthetic Oil PDRA Drag Racing Series championship in Classic Graphix Top Jr. Dragster in 2026!

Piercey used back to back wins at Maryland International Raceway and Bristol Dragway to move himself into contention for the championship and held off a hard charge at the World Finals to win his first title by less than a round of racing. Racer Registration will open at 8am and the time trial session will begin at 10am with eliminations to immediately follow!
