🩺🔬 Ms. Prince's Medical Terminology students got hands-on today with a fetal pig dissection!

This lab gave students the opportunity to connect classroom vocabulary to real anatomical structures while exploring body systems and medical terminology in action. From identifying organs to understanding anatomical directions and functions, students gained valuable experience that brings medicine and science to life. 🐷📚
Experiences like these help prepare students for future careers in healthcare, sports medicine, nursing, veterinary science, and beyond!

There are moments when words simply do not feel big enough for the loss we are experiencing. Today, our hearts are broken as we mourn the passing of a deeply loved member of our school family, Mr. Armstrong. More than a teacher, he was a steady presence, a source of encouragement, laughter, comfort, and care for so many students and colleagues.

As a school community, we are grieving together. We ask that you keep Mr. Armstrong’s family, friends, students, and coworkers in your thoughts and prayers in the days ahead. Support services and counseling remain available for students and staff as we navigate this difficult time together.

In the midst of sorrow, we are reminded how precious people truly are and how lasting the gift of kindness can be. We will remember the smiles shared, the lives touched, and the love poured into our young people every day.

Once a General, Always a General. 💙
