Parents, we know the holiday season is magical… but also a little bit chaotic. Between playing Santa, sneaking in Christmas shopping, and trying to wrap gifts without tiny eyes spotting you—sometimes you just need an evening to yourselves!

🇺🇸🎆 We had an absolute blast celebrating the 4th of July today with our little firecrackers! From tie-dyeing festive shirts and learning all about the USA, to cooling off in the splash pad and digging into delicious red, white, and blue ice cream sundaes 🍨—the fun never stopped!

We wrapped up our celebration with a glow stick dance party that lit up the whole room! 💃🕺✨

☀️💦 Today was our first Water Day of the summer!

The kiddos had an absolute blast fishing in the “frog pond”, slipping down the slide, and cooling off with their friends. 😎🌊

🌟 Little Foot Family Daycare is all about creating a close-knit, safe, and nurturing environment for your little one! With a special focus on fostering independence and practical life skills, children are encouraged to make choices, solve problems, and take on age-appropriate responsibilities. Of course, there is also plenty of time reserved for the most important work of a child: play! Plus, lunch and snacks are provided, so there is no need to worry about packing meals!

An opening will be coming available soon, so don’t hesitate! If you have any questions or want to get your child in the waiting pool for a future meet and greet, send over a message!

🌟 February is here, and it's all about friendship, love, and kindness! 🌟 This month, we’re focusing on being the best friends we can be. Through dramatic play, we’re learning how to take turns, lend a helping hand, and teamwork. Through fine motor activities, we’re learning letter recognition, familiar association, and color sorting! Of course, our Little Foot Library is filled with books on kindness and how to be a good friend! ❤️

Happy New Year! This month I just had to take advantage of 4/6 of my daycare kids being little girls who love all things Frozen/Elsa, though I don’t think my little guys will mind either. 🥰

January brings us all the way over to the Kingdom of Arendelle, home of Queen Elsa, Princess Anna, and all of their friends! We are all set for royal tea parties, making a trip to Wandering Oaken’s Trading Post, shoveling lots of snowballs, and climbing ice mountains! Do you want to build a snowman? 🎶

My favorite time of year is finally here and I could not have been more excited to set up this month’s theme! From the Hot Chocolate stand to the Polar Express 🚂, there is no shortage of things to do here at Little Foot Family Daycare! ☃️

🇺🇸⭐️Today we learned about our country’s veterans by reading a book about each branch of service, listening to songs about America, playing dress up in some of Ms J’s old uniforms, and painting some patriotic art!

🍁🦃 It’s Turkey Time! Our November “shelfie” displays fine motor activities to strengthen pincer grasps, fine-tune scooping, pouring, and transferring, color matching, and more! Over at our community table we can practice setting the table for a thanksgiving feast, our dramatic play area is all set for baking and selling some yummy pies, and of course our Little Foot Library is stocked with turkey stories and an honorable mention for Veteran’s Day! Stay tuned next week for some special Veteran’s Day fun! 🫡⚓️
